As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.
Job Summary
The Lean Projects Manager III will lead, execute, and manage Lean Projects on the Value Stream Team. Heavy focus on partnership with regional execution teams to identify innovative ideas; vetting, validating and driving those ideas through NPI, UAT and Industrialization. A core focus will be on driving lean action workouts and value stream mapping the entire outage. This role will have a cost out target associated with the responsible region.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and lead effective programs which improve field performance
- Drive Lean Action Workouts focused on regional needs and critical outages, value stream mapping the entire outage with the focus to reduce waste, cost and increase OTD
- Partner with FieldCore Lean for Field Services team to drive best in class OTD, utilizing lean methodologies
- Partner with Regional Productivity and Operations teams to remediate technology related cost pressure using lean tools, projects and programs
- Partner with the field execution teams to ensure programs, tools and projects are effective.
- Own and understand the penetration and utilization of Lean tools, projects and programs
- Travel required
- May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with minimum five years of Field Engineer or Project management experience; additional years of experience in power generation can be substituted for degree
- 10+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
- 4+ years of specialized/industry experience
- Strong experience in power generation and field services experience in Heavy Duty Gas and/or Steam Turbine maintenance
- English proficiency required
Desired Characteristics:
- Master’s degree preferred
- A deep understanding and experience with gas turbine outage execution
- Experience with lean methodologies
- Experience with outage productivity tooling and developing cost remediation projects & programs
- Excellent communication and management skills and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees
- Former Field Engineering, Outage Management or Service Manager experience
- Expert in power generation outage maintenance
- Strong project planning and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Very results-oriented
- Work well both independently and in a team environment, including in remote work settings
- Ability to travel, including internationally, 25-30% of the time
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $103,200 to $173,400. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program. Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
